Trina Schaetz is first and foremost a swimmer. She started swimming as an age-grouper, competed through high school and college, and currently swims at the masters level. Her lifelong pursuit of great swimming is what led her to yoga as a dryland component in 2010. She was looking for something that would build strength and mobility while enhancing body awareness and recovery. She credits yoga with much of her recent swimming success. She is presently a USMS All-American and WI Masters record holder. She is certified as a USA Swimming coach and 200RYT Yoga Instructor and believes in the benefits of yoga for all levels of swimmers.
